Interior Custom Shutters are a beautiful addition to the home without completely covering the
windows. |
Don't forget the Old Family Christmas Photos...sit them here and there around the house.
Yes that is Peggy on the left with her Sister Mary on the right. Love the hats! |
Add some color to the mirror with two cedar & red berry sprays. |
Couldn't forget to decorate the swan! Cut some garland and then added the popcorn cranberry garland. |
To our Single Electric Sconce that we sell on our website, we added two candle rings. First the green then topped it off with a red berry ring. |
An old and simple favorite for year round decorating...add pinecones in an old crock. |
Don't forget to add garland, artificial fruit swags, etc. to your hutch top! |
Another Village Scene of a Charming Saltbox Home. |
My favorite part of decorating our house is the Dicken's Village Display. I truly get lost in these charming displays. I add snow, ice and make it life like. |
The Feather Trees look great in old or new crocks. To hide the base of the tree just gently add a piece of fabric or towel. I tied a bow around the crock for more color. |
My old dough bowl on the dining room table gets transformed for Christmas. Using some cut pieces from artificial cedar garlands along with some artificial fruit makes for an attractive centerpiece. |
No need to purchase expensive tree skirts. Simply use a piece of fabric, a table runner, a kitchen towel or a valance (as I did here). Wrap around the base. |
My Stair Basket gets decorated for the season. Again, I clipped some of the cedar garland and arranged it in the basket and simply added a few berry picks! |
This beautiful pitcher on the island gets rearranged with the seasons. Some green sprays and a few berry picks do the trick! |
You can use real lemons or simple ornaments as I have done here in an old yellowware bowl. Add some greens and a couple of candy canes....all items shown are artificial. |
Is your Santa Collection outgrowing your house also? Consolidate them as shown and add some greens!
Here I used an antique cradle which normally houses the newspapers and magazines.
Again, cut a few artificial cedar sprays and use some of the pieces as shown. Adds that special and simple touch around the house! |
It wouldn't be Christmas without my grandmothers old glass ball ornaments. I simply fill some bowls around the house! |
Here I took a black tin plate to display the battery operated candles. I cut some small pieces from my cedar and berry sprays and placed around the candles. |
I cut a small section from my artificial cedar garland to decorate the chandelier and added some skinny strands of berry garlands. |
In place of bows, just stick a berry pick in your garlands! |
More sprayed pumpkins on the porch! |
Don't toss out those pumpkins after Thanksgiving...spray them as we did here and create some outdoor Christmas displays. Thanks Jim for spraying those pumpkins! |
